The Satellite is our electronic music studio, with an impressive selection of vintage electronic synthesizers. The combination of traditional modular synthesis and state of the art computer processing gives unlimited possibilities for sound creation. It can also be used as an editing suite while recording takes place in the Mothership.

The control room is the home of what must be one of the most sought after recording consoles in history, a 1972 Neve console, our pride and joy, originally commissioned for the Royal Opera House of London.
Along with all the other modern and vintage equipment this is the heart of Gula, where much of the magic happens.

The Disco Room with its very damped acoustics gives the classic dry, tight and punchy studio sound that has been very popular in recording since the early seventies.

The mothership
This is our large studio, with three recording rooms and a spacious control room.
The 120 sq.m. Great Room with its pinewood floor and careful selection of wood, brick and absorbtive wall surfaces, gives the ideal ambience for large sounds such as drums, horn sections and any other instruments that need space to breathe. Most people also enjoy doing every part of their session, including vocals, in this room, as it never feels confined. It is large enough to fit a full string ensamble or equivalent.

The Stone Room, with it's wild acoustics, is the ideal place for any sound that shall be peceived as extra loud or big, such as rock guitars and garage
drums.

The other facilities
In the Lounge area you can relax in the sofa during the sessions as well as watch TV, play video games and what not. It is situated between a bathroom with a shower and the kitchen.

We also have an office with internet connection and a workshop for fixing equipment.

The recording room provides full features for recording single performers or other sources that do not require a large space. It is larger than a
traditional vocal booth, but it may be hard to fit a drumkit or similar.
When not in use for recording it can serve as an additional chill-out zone or song-writing room.
